Jack Daniel’s Red Dog Saloon is a special edition whiskey that celebrates the 125th anniversary of the opening of the Red Dog Saloon, a legendary bar in Lynchburg, Tennessee, where Jack Daniel’s whiskey is made. The Red Dog Saloon was opened by Mr. Jack Daniel himself in 1892, but it no longer exists today. The whiskey is bottled at 43% ABV, which is slightly higher than the usual 40% ABV of Jack Daniel’s Old No. 7. It has a rich and smooth flavor, with notes of caramel, mint, banana, and spice.
